“We stayed here after an unfortunate accident which totaled our car. The staff at Graystone went out of their way to help us get back on track. They gave us early checkin and great direction on how to navigate the situation using options in the Boone area. Everything about the hotel was wonderful, including the room breakfast, and fresh chocolate chip cookies. We hope to return for another stay here under better circumstances. It is a beautiful area!”

“The staff and amenities were great! Breakfast was hot and well stocked! We enjoy the pool alone twice on our trip. Only down side was our room was not very clean, stains on the sheets, shower and floor were dirty and it smelled a little bit. We also did not use the WiFi due to having to make an account but that was our choice.”

“There was little to like here. The room was average, only basic bathroom toiletries, no blanket or fold out luggage rack. Breakfast was low quality. Staff was unaccommodating and rude , particularly the female day manager. Will not be visiting here again, and perhaps no HIE. They are cut rate on most everything.”

“The staff were helpful and friendly. However, on our first night, the room had a musty odor and damp carpet (throughout the room). We were able to move to another room on our second night but this second room also had a musty odor and damp carpet throughout the room. We associated this problem with the air conditioning units which cooled the rooms but did not remove the humid air. We will not stay in this hotel again!”

“We stayed at the 2 bedroom suite and it was just perfect for our family. Cleverly done spacious layout with a big living room and comfy sofa bed. Well stocked spacious kitchen and very comfortable beds. Loved our stay and would certainly stay again if we are in this area again.”

“This is a nice, fairly new hotel; large rooms and comfortable beds. We ate at the restaurant one night and the food was excellent! The elevator was not operating for our 2 nights there, but that was not much of an imposition. Also, ice is available for your rooms, but only at the front desk. Very convenient to Main St.”

“The village is beautiful. Our kids loved the pond, playground and surrounding paths for family walks. The cabin was cozy, well kept and had everything a family needs. Our stay was short but will have to do it again for an extended stay.”
