"Even though in the description it clearly states they have AC, this time of the year they do not. So with the fluctuations of Temperature and being on a higher floor the rooms are very warm. We were told to just open a window, which are not screened. Had to ask for a fan, one was not offered as a solution when I called. I was just rudely told it states on the website that they do not have AC, which is inaccurate. So if you can’t sleep in a hot room at night you may want to rethink staying here. The majority of the staff at the front will not greet you in any fashion, I always greeted them with a smile and barely would get a response. If you’re looking for a place that is within walking distance to all of the monuments this is not in a location for that. We had to Take an uber every day to and from the Main area. "

The air conditioner cover was cracked and broken in spots. The hallway and elevator area was worn and threadbare. The ice machine and vending machines were broken on my floor. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It’s right on the Metro line, with a station 2 blocks away. The National Zoo is 2 stops away. All in all not a bad hotel, just could use some TLC . "
