Top The Strangles Beach Hotel Reviews
Camelot Castle Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I booked this place for the views, and the beautiful sunset certainly didn't disappoint. The building itself is stunning, and the lounge is fantastic—absolutely full of interesting paintings and knick-knacks to look at. However, the stay had its downsides. The building is in a bit of poor condition, with visible water and other damages here and there. The parking lot is also completely unmarked and has an awkward shape, making it feel crowded and a bit hectic to navigate. As for the single room, it was acceptable but felt a bit like staying in the servant's quarters of a big mansion, especially after seeing the grand lounge. The en-suite was just a tiny, self-contained bathroom unit added to the space. It wasn't the most enjoyable part of the stay, but it did the job."
Wellington Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Everyone working at the Wellington Hotel were absolutely brilliant. We could not of been looked after any better. Well done and thankyou to all concerned. Pete Milner and Elaine Short"
Caroe Farmhouse
10/10 Excellent
"A wonderful stay with an interesting and lovely host, highly recommend"
The Old Wainhouse
8/10 Good
"The room was fine, although for some reason there weren't any hangers in the wardrobe. I was thankful for ice from the bar downstairs (it was another very hot day), and also for the quiet neighbourhood. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again."
Boscastle House
10/10 Excellent
"Everything about Boscastle House is just right. The house is spotless with much attention to detail. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and served in a very pleasant dining room by Dawn. We highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again."
2 bedroom cottage: private parking, by harbour, pubs. Boscastle - North Cornwall
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely cottage everything we needed and more ...clean comfortable ...everything on the doorstep cafe.s pubs bakery ..2 mins from the beautiful harbour ...we will return"
Beautiful Views Of The Jordan Valley
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful location, Boscastle is a very short walk. We had amazing weather and even though we had a heatwave the house remained very cool and was great to come back to after a hot day out and about. Would definitely recommend this accommodation!"
The Stables - Crackington Haven Cornwall
10/10 Excellent
"The setting is slightly nicer than you can see in the photos, the property has decking leading down steps to an enclosed little garden with a drying line and over looks the large driveway, tennis court and beautiful views. The property is nice. It has an open plan lounge/kitchen with dining table. Beds are comfy, shower is good. The front door was sticky and almost impossible to open but we happily used the back door which has a key. Washing took a while to dry inside the property, best to use the line outsode of not raining. You need to drive to get to places but its near loads of good stuff. Lovely beach and dog walk at Crackington Haven, about a 5 minute drive. Boscastle is very near, its a gorgeous village to visit with an even more beautiful walk. We went to Bude - summerleaze beach and pool, North Rock beach which was great for body boarding, had a lovely day at Clovelly."
