Escape to an Extraordinary Log Home, amazing views, hot tub, secluded, tranquil

10/10 Excellent
"Th Inn Between is a beautiful building in a unique and lovely location. The home is also remote enough to feel like you can really connect with the land and your companions but close to BV and surrounding activities that days and nights can be filled with restaurant, shops, and hiking if you want. It is also well-maintained and well stocked. The hot tub was clean and cozy. The kitchen was modern and clean including a coffee maker and medium roast coffee. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. Thank you, Maureen, for a wonderful experience!"

Taylor Park Overlook Cabin in Gunnison National Forest with Lake Views

10/10 Excellent
"The cabin was in the perfect location for us, since we were riding side by side trails. Beautiful views of the mountains and Taylor Lake Reservoir. Cute and functional. Brand new gas grill on the deck. Fully stocked kitchen. Everything was very clean. We did not find any wash cloths for showering, so bring your own. Not a fancy place, but very nice , and definitely a cozy, homey, cabin feel, like you would expect in the mountains. One thing I have noticed with a lot of VRBO is they only supply a very limited amount of trash bags and toliet paper, and it is usually junk. They had plenty of both, plus ziploc bags, tinfoil ect. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a fantastic family trip here. It was a great experience for all of us to be in a remote environment surrounded by nature. The only small thing I’d recommend is that they add some fans in the bedrooms upstairs because we stayed on one of Colorado’s hottest weeks of the year and it got warm with a/c."

"Host was very welcoming. Nice cheaper option. My husband was weary at first about staying in a room in someone’s house essentially but we were out to hike before breakfast no issues. He said he liked it there. You can watch the hummingbirds at the feeder and sit out by the patio. Every room was full but we heard no noises. Host chatted with us for a few minutes upon arrival. She also has a nice dog. She offers breakfast in the morning which would have been nice if we didn’t wanna be up so early"

"Me and my wife rented the cabin last August of 2025 and got married in salida. We stayed the last week of July 2026 for our honeymoon.I cannot thank our hosts enough for having us.It was a very romantic stay. And as a couple that like OHV Riding,It was nice Riding on the mountain pass in our RZR 50" trail over Hancock pass to pitkin for a nice lunch. And on a side note, It irrates me about negative, untruthful recent reviews. Please read and understand what is said about bringing dogs, extra guests, etc, and simple rules as a guest that you are.The hosts are very nice people and just ask for simple respect.Just a beautiful place for a kansas couple to get away from the hustle and bustle of big city living."
