“This is a newer hotel but it has long time character. Sparkling clean, everything works, no dents. The decor brought to mind a hotel in the Alps. Odd as this may seem as a perk, I enjoy room windows that open, allowing cool air to enter without having to turn on the AC. There is even a towel rack in the bathroom! The continental breakfast was fresh, nice and offered plenty of options. The lobby breakfast room, well cozy, but maybe too much so. The managers might consider trading the couch……

“The room was super clean and the room was nice and updated! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and there was great amenities like a salt water hot tub and sauna.”

“Loved everything about this place! It was so beautiful and luxurious, but really comfortable and relaxing… not pretentious at all! We had cocktails in the speak easy, which was such a fun surprise! Jeremy was the best mixologist and was full of interesting facts about the history of the property .Then dinner in the restaurant… delicious. Our server, Teddy, was the best. The rooms were fantastic! Every detail well thought out… even a steamer for your clothes! Can’t say enough good things about……

“Great little independent hotel. I see some other reviews have spoken about the nearby train going by and the thin walls. The train is definitely close, but once I was asleep, I never heard it again. And I never did hear any of my neighbors either, so I guess your mileage may vary. All in all, a surprisingly spacious room, very clean, with a clean bathroom. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful with a great attitude. No complaints, no notes.”

“We enjoyed playing pool and corn hole in the rec room. Our room was clean, and I liked the decor; room size is a bit small compared to other places we stayed on our trip. A towel rack by the sink would be helpful. Breakfast was good; there were several choices. We would stay here again.”

“Like the roof pool with 2 hot tubs one outside on the deck with nice gas fire pits. Kitchen Restaurant has excellent food. Starbucks on site is great. Disappointed that every bathroom I enter all the dispensers were empty without soap or towels to dry your hands not sure if they had a shortage of help over a 3 day holiday weekend. The place is dated but most of the first 2 floors looked fairly new where the action is. Also never stayed in a Hotel room with no microwave maybe it was just the……

“Spend a few extra dollars and stay at a nicer place. The posted pictures are deceiving. They have 2 different areas, one newer and one older. We got the older and the pictures didn’t really match up. The “breakfast” wasn’t nothing to write home about. No coffee maker in the room. No clock. Tiny shower. But I will admit that I slept well.”

“The room was spacious with extra seating and all rooms have a balcony that faces the river. The staff were all gracious and helpful. Walking distance to town.”

“The staff was real nice Our room was clean. The parking lot was clean also the casino. We enjoyed the restaurant that was connected to the casino, which was saltgrass.”

“The environment and staff were excellent! The only downside was that after spending one night, my allergic rhinitis got really bad, which happens when the bedding isn’t clean enough.”
