"We had the most wonderful time for a girls weekend. We enjoyed the food all of the amenities and the staff was all lovely. We did, however have a really strange interaction with someone in the hot tub last night. Her name was Meghan was maybe mid 40s or 50s and had really short hair. She claimed to be a staff member of the spa and was just enjoying the amenities in the hot tub with us. She admitted that she wasn’t staying on the premises and lived about 10 minutes away. While in the hot tub with us, She was texting on her phone that we could see due to the large font inappropriate messages to multiple men and was taking pictures of herself and sending them as well. We aren’t sure if she was being truthful about actually being a staff member because we felt that if she worked for the hotel, she wouldn’t have behaved that way. Her conversation was also very anxious and erratic. We just wanted to let you know that in case it was someone that was just sneaking into use the hot tub. She was actually there the night before in the hot tub as well but we didn’t talk to her then. Otherwise it was a wonderful weekend and we will definitely be back! "

"Room was clean but you could tell it hasn't been DEEP cleaned in a while. Bed was comfy, breakfast was meh, ok if you cant afford to go out and need to save a few bucks. People living on the property. Walls are super thin and talking in the hallway sounds like they were right in our rooms. I couldnt tell if the full hour long conversation in the hall and constant slamming doors was guests, staff, residence, or what. I'd stay here again but only if nothing else was available. "

"Room was old and dirty actually the entire building is old smelled and rooms are small bed was not comfortable I didn't feel safe at all. People were outside my room window all night being loud any throwing things at the building . I wouldn't recommend staying there and I'll not stay again the staff at the front desk was rude as well not a pleasant place to stay for $100 plus a night "

"Basically this is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed and this is our second time staying there. The rooms are immaculate everything's immaculate which is kind of one of the reasons. Why is because the place is brand spanking new.Chris Viude has some of the best food in the area hands down?. He changed his menu seasonally so now we're getting close to spring so the menu will be changing quite a bit for the spring so we look forward to coming up for that as well too. The prices right now the prices are generally including the resort fee are somewhere close to $300 a night which is you know. Not dirt cheap but not ridiculous either, especially for this kind of quality. In the summertime, obviously things will be much more expensive. At that point they're closer to 600 plus including the $45 resort fee, which is not a bad resort for you. Like about Washington. It's considerably more than that and the rooms unless you're in the new Wing are nowhere near as opulent. One of the things that I do like is that the people staying there it seem to be dressing a little nicer. I mean I get a little bit sick and tired of seeing like cheesy shorts and stuff like that at places like them out. Washington I mean hey look we're not on a Carnival Cruise we're at a classic hotel. The staff is so friendly without being over the top. Some places you know you can see where you know it's kind of fake. Definitely not here. "The room was very spacious and bright, with a gas fireplace and sitting area in front of it. The chairs in the seating area were a bit uncomfortable, saggy, so one night we watched the small tv in bed. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower and the whole room was very clean. The mini fridge had a freezer which was appreciated for our freezer packs. The ice machine in the breakfast area is not for coolers. The pool was not open, which was a drawback. The breakfast was carb heavy with bagels, bread, muffins, danish and cereal. There were no hot foods or fruit. We ate breakfast our last day at Union Diner down the road, very good. Staff was great and so was the location. The restaurant attached to the resort was very expensive, but the food looked good. We had a drink in the bar, but we thought $28 for 2 rum and gingers was a bit steep. "
