And that is taking minimalism a little bit too far. I can't arrive at one of the busiest cities on the planet, late in the evening, and nobody of the general populace speaks much English, all sweaty (I think it was already rain season, although there was not much actual rain, but lots of sweltering heat), with two rucksacks, and have no idea of how to actually get into my hotel and how to keep my stuff safe and all the other, well, service-y stuff that hotels are supposed to do. Minimalism does not mean doing nothing!
