"Booked without realizing it was outside of Puerto Vallarta. One of my best mistakes to date. It is a little expensive to get to by taxi, and extra $50 we didn't plan on but in the end it was sooo worth it. This place is tranquil and good for the soul. There is a small stream behind the hotel with a manmade sandbar in it with 3 beach chairs. Waterfall about 4 steps away from that. "Overall the Hotel is very beautiful and historic. Nice pieces of antique furniture all around the dining area and our room. Breakfast was delicious, although, I did not like that I was charged whether or not you eat breakfast. Our room was great, but I did have an issue with the shower, it flooded while using and the hot water took a while to come out. I did see a stain in the wall and hair on shower wall that was there before we got there. "
