“This may have been the cleanest hotel I have ever been in. Immaculate. The staff were genuinely helpful (getting our bags upstairs, for example.) The excellent breakfast was cooked to order. The buffet had fresh cut fruit, which was a lovely touch. The location was a little out of the way, but the views and the grounds made up for it. We did not stay in the shepherds huts, but they looked really interesting (and super high quality) Excellent for couples.”

“The room was excellent the bathroom a little tired with no separate shower. There was no hot water on one of the mornings. The view from the room/balcony was stunning. The continental breakfast was good although there were no warm croissants. The cooked breakfasts were not very freshly cooked, especially the scrambled eggs and bacon. The Bay Bar staff were very pleasant and the food excellent. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it and would stay there again.”

“A bit tired. Could do with a good scrub and a coat of paint. Room ok. We only stayed a couple of nights. I would not have wanted to be there for a week. Pool and sauna very good. Shower by sauna very good. Hot tub and flooring near pool seemed like it could be cleaner. Breakfast buffet ok but much better ordering off the menu. Food in the restaurant for the evening meal was good. All staff were very good!”
