Beautiful by the lake. Pay the extra 10 or 20 dollars for the lake view rooms. Nice pool. Nice hot tub. Nice view. Nice deck. Nice gym. Nice people.

What a unique resort. The view is panoramic, in a country setting. Well worth the stay.

Very clean, modern hotel. Breakfast is so good, with many fresh baked pastries and breakfast pizza. There is also a brewery right next door, so that is a bonus! Highly recommend.

Nice place to stay while visiting Alfred U. Clean room, included breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable mattress. Would stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable. I love that they use Dove brand products for their toiletries! The pool was a comfortable temperature, and the breakfast was just right. The people at the front desk (both night shift and morning shift) were pleasant, kind, and helpful. The one weird thing was that there was no phone in the room to call the front desk, but that wasn't a big deal.

Definitely lived up to its "fabulous" rating! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The options for the continental breakfast were many and even nicer was that everything was individually wrapped (but fresh, NOT pre-packaged and sealed with no expiration date!) and pancake machine was touchless. A little further off the interstate than we anticipated but worth the drive. Would stay again

This was located in the heart of the Wine Trail on Seneca Lake. Beautiful views - quiet and comfortable. Will be coming back to stay here for sure!

decent stay for family

My friend and family went up for a weekend to do a self guided wine tour. My best friend and I share a birthday and we were celebrating! We booked at this hotel not knowing anything about it. Right from the start the owner was incredibly nice and welcoming she found out we were celebrating our birthday. The rooms were personal cute and clean. The property was beautiful. We loved the chalet that we stayed in, super comfy bed, beautiful views, no matter which one you stay in. Staff was very kind, helping us park our trailer, and being accommodating. Would highly recommend this little secret in Watkins Glen.

Our hosts, Charlie and Rebecca, were very gracious and gave us pointers for dinner locations. The room was very cosy and the breakfast scrumptious. Their coffee brand is worth trying even if you are not a coffee drinker

The hotel room was so cozy and it felt like having our own apartment. Tom was so cool to talk to and gave us the best recommendation for Halloween night! We had food from the restaurant and it was above and beyond our expectations. All of the businesses we went to encouraged visiting other businesses. An amazing stay. Even added on an extra night!

First of all, the owner/operator Jim proactively called us to confirm our arrival time and couldn't have been more pleasant. When we arrived, he upgraded us to the best room in the lodge which was an absolutely gorgeous, beautifully appointed studio apartment sized suite that was just as clean and comfortable as could be. It had a spectacular view of Seneca Lake as well. We missed breakfast that next morning, but the giant sized common kitchen/dining/parlor area remained accessible with fresh...

The room was spotless and the staff was pleasant. It's somewhat hard to find but worth the effort. There was a nice small but sufficient breakfast.
