"There was a beautiful view from the window the sky was so blue it was nice to look at the pool below. The cleanliness of the room was fantastic. The bed just wasn't very soft we stayed in the executive top room bed Comfort could have been better."

Some fixtures could do with upgrading like peeling showerhead abd scuff marks near the entrance on the carpet, but the staff more than made up for it with their prompt service with fixing the internet and allowing us to re enter the room after checkout to retrieve things. The view that came with the room is exceptional. The attached cafe also has great and fresh offerings. The markets on Sunday is just below on flinders street. For location you cannot do better. "

"Rambutan is my absolute go-to in Townsville. Lovely friendly staff, great amenities, super location, an upbeat vibe, a pool that has plenty of shade (yay!) and good options for food and drink without having to leave (read: poolside cocktails with great background music as well as a dining menu all at your fingertips). Casual, but delightful. Well appointed King rooms with enough space. I'll be back again for sure! "
