Fully renovated in 2024, Bay Town Suite is a modern luxury space at an affordable price. Walk to downtown and local beaches or take advantage of complementary bicycles and be there in minutes. Relax in the evening with a glass of wine and a fire; in your suite or by the flagstone patio. Vacation like a pro and learn where the locals go to have fun in and around the area from your superhosts. Our suite offers privacy, quality, prime location, and affordability in the heart of Traverse City.

Our private King suite includes a full bathroom, King bed, mini fridge, microwave, free wifi, flat screen tv, fireplace and more. Enjoy our spacious deck, use of grill, and flagstone fire pit for evening fires. Join us for happy hour on the patio and get the inside scoop on Traverse City from a local perspective.

Our suite is just 4 blocks from downtown Traverse City and 2 blocks to the beautiful Grand Traverse Bay, Bryant park beach. Conquer the traffic and parking by using our two complimentary bikes or enjoy a leisurely walk down historic Washington Street to shops and dining.

Important Notes: Bay Town Suite is a private guest space attached to our home, with its own entrance and no access to our living areas. Outdoor spaces and laundry are shared. We're Traverse City locals—your hosts—and our friendly dog, Yzie, may say hello!

Fantastic stay at this gem in Traverse City! The owners clearly care about making sure everything is just right for those staying with them, attending to seemingly small things like providing detailed instructions about use of tv and thermostat, to the much bigger things like providing great recs for places to go and restaurants to try. The room itself is spacious and the bed so comfortable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Many thanks!

Great Location!

This was our first stay at a property connected to the owners home and we were pleasantly surprised! It’s just as advertised- great location, super clean & a nicely decorated large space. The owners are very nice & we felt welcome.

The Perfect Place

Bay Town Suite was the perfect place for my stay in Traverse City. The room was affordable, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located within a short walk to the beach and downtown. Norm and Jody made the experience even more enjoyable. You will never receive more hospitality and care from any other place. They even took the time to help me pull off a surprise proposal on the beach to my girlfriend. I highly recommend Bay Town Suite for your stay in Traverse City.

Wonderful Place

We truly enjoyed our stay here. Newly renovated and is exactly how it looks in the pictures. Very comfortable King bed and sofa for relaxing. Lots of drawers for storage of clothes, etc. Nice mini fridge with small freezer, microwave, pod coffee maker, toaster and dishes. Beautiful bathroom with lots of counter space as well as drawers to store things and a great shower. Also the use of a washer and dryer was very helpful for us. They have a beautiful back deck and yard for relaxing as well. Izey, their pup, was a joy to hang out with in the yard. Jody and Norm were great hosts and very quick to respond to any questions about the place or the area. We would love to come back sometime but maybe not during the Cherry Festival.

Clean and Cozy

The Bayside Suite is centrally located. You can easily access downtown as well as both peninsulas. Jody and Norm are wonderful and friendly hosts. They will assist you with recommendations. In fact, Jody even offered a name of a driver when we were having difficulty hiring Uber. The suite is very clean and roomy, and the bed is especially comfortable. It was a perfect place for a long weekend in Traverse City.

Excellent location

We stayed in the Bay Town Suite for 4 days in early July during the Cherry Festival and really enjoyed it. The suite is comfortable and bright. Everything was very clean and orderly. The suite accesses a wonderful deck that is perfect for morning coffee or afternoon drinks. One of the major draws for us was the location. You can’t beat it for being an easy walk to downtown or connecting to the great bike trails that run throughout the city as well as on the Leelanau peninsula. Jody was very responsive and helpful. She and her family have lived in the TC area for years and was a font of information. We had fabulous meals at restaurants that she and Norm recommended. Really, the food was incredible everywhere we ate! We had a wonderful stay and the Bay Town Suite will be our destination next time we’re in the TC area. Thanks so much!
