All the activities listed previously were more about Dublin than Trim. From Trim we visited the the archaeological sites and the Norman castle. This is a great place to stay.

"Tara View Apartments is a peaceful, beautiful property. The staff are helpful and congenial. The accommodations are shockingly good for such an economic option. Trim - a great little town to relax in, and wind down from a busy vacation. Enjoyed the pub across the street from Brogan's, good traditional Irish music. Brogan's has a lovely pub and restaurant, with great food, at good prices. Friendly people.

The village was lovely and the castle fadcinating. We used the same tXi company one evening. The charge going was 18 euro, whete the return trip at midnight was 6 euro. Felt like a ripoff factor was in play! Also the hotel is in a housing estate.

The hostess of the Highfield House B and B, Geraldine, was most helpful and welcoming. Trim is a very cute little town!
