"Close to wineries and tasting rooms"
My husband and I enjoy wine and have been wanting to visit the Willows Lodge after discovering online. After some recent business in Seattle we decided to give it a try...wish we had planned more than one night! The Lodge is beautiful and the service is excellent! Close to wineries and tasting rooms. We plan on visiting again soon!

"Amazing service"
The room was spacious, clean, and very well-presented. The location is excellent as it's very close to Pike market. Even the Space Needle is just a thirty minute walk. What really stood out to me was the friendliness of the front-desk staff, specifically Samantha, who went well out of her way to give us some much needed advice for our vacation.

"Beautiful hotel & centrally located"
My other half & I wanted to treat ourselves to a nice hotel in Seattle for the weekend and chose the Fairmont, based upon its reputation. From the time we arrived until the time we checked out, we were treated with the utmost professionalism & given the attention that royalty might receive. Valets are at your service, doormen very kind, and the rest of the staff is excellent as well. Not knowing it was our anniversary, reception upgraded us to a suite at no additional charge upon checking in - adding a nice touch to our experience. After a night out, the lounge is a wonderful, intimate spot for a nightcap. Normally we don't "do" hotel lounges, but I'm happy we tried this one only to return the next night! My only complaints: the smaller-than-expected pool (which was chock-full of screaming children for our adults-only anniversary trip) and the very high-priced in-room dining menu (20% gratuity charged, plus another line to add more tip + $4 delivery charge for room service...why not just increase the already exorbitant prices?). My hope is that the Fairmont adjusts their pool policy to exclude children from the pool & spa area after 6 or 7pm. It is impossible to relax in the hot tub or go for a swim with children splashing about & screaming. Other than those two minor things, it's lovely! Highly recommend the Fairmont Olympic!

"Nice hotel, secluded for the Seattle area"
Going to the Seattle area, I was not looking for something that would have a crowded feel. I also needed to know that I would have parking for my truck. This hotel is right along i-90 so it is easy to find, yet on a dead-end side road which allows one to feel that they are outside the busy hustle of the area. The hotel is right next to a large Christian church and has a pretty good outdoor parking lot that my truck fit in pretty well. The rooms are pretty large and even have a dishwasher and stovetop!

"One of the nicer hotels near the Tacoma Doma"
Nice, trendy hotel, with quite a lot of beautiful glass artwork exhibits. Located across the street from the (free) light-rail stop. (Note: Light-rail stops at 10pm. So if you take it to the Tacoma Dome, bring along some cash to pay for a cab on the return trip.) The mini-bar is pretty spendy (even for a hotel mini-bar). We decided not to invest in the hyper-expensive bottle of water (which you can purchase for one-third the price at the grocery store around the corner.) Finally, when booking this hotel, be sure to ask for a Family Friendly room. (Our room had a lithograph of naked female breasts -- which might be offensive to some.) Apparently, the entire 7th floor is devoted to "Titty art" (as my wife calls it.)
