"We stayed for 4 days/3 nights middle of June 2025.The house is plenty big for a family/friends vacation. We enjoyed the pool table and river. We cooked nightly and the kitchen was stocked with all of the basics. The a/c’s worked wonderfully, which was great because it was very hot and humid during our stay. The driveway to get into the property is a gravel road that at the beginning is steep with ruts. A small light car (which we had) had a difficult time getting up the driveway without bottoming out and getting thrown a bit when hitting the rut. The actually parking area is also very steep but it is concrete.The house was clean except that it seemed as though no one had been there in a while and there was a lot of bugs, cobwebs and we had 2 small snakes come into the house while we were there. The carpet was dirty and we tried to vacuum but the vacuum was not picking up anything, just shooting it out the back.Do not expect to have any Wi-Fi. When he says enough to check email, he’s not lying. No streaming of anything. The projector you can barely hear the volume. You will be totally unplugged while there.This is nature, which we loved, but be prepared with a lot of bug spray and picking Ticks off of yourself.If you hate nature, this is not the place for you.We loved our stay though and had no problems with check in or out. Make sure to read the property book as soon as you get there. We failed to do this and it resulted in some unnecessary texts to Dean."

"Five stars all around! We’ve been traveling to Lake of the Ozarks for years but never had an experience that exceeded all expectations until our stay at Pebble Bay Club! The complex provides a true family-friendly environment with impeccable grounds, amenities a plenty, and incredible food and service at the bar and grill. Abundant memories to be made fishing from the pier, swimming at the pool, gathered around the firepit, and listening to local live music. Can’t wait to come back!"

"We had a wonderful time at the Norton House!! We saw so much wildlife, we enjoyed taking the kayaks out and seeing the cave, we loved sitting out and relaxing on the back porch overhanging the lake and relaxing down by the water as well. My husband was happy as he got to finish 3 books while we were there, I got all my kayaking in, and our kids got to enjoy swimming and playing board games. The home is beautifully decorated in cabin style!! Barb and Ward were extremely responsive to any questions we had as well. We really look forward to and fully plan to come back here to stay again!!"

"This home helped provide a shelter for myself and my friends during our senior trip. The home was a great place to stay. Cleanliness was spot on and communication with the property owner was great also. Really considering giving another chance to this place next time I come down. We loved the place and would definitely recommend!"

"This is a little slice of heaven. The four of us had an amazing time! The only suggestions I would give is to provide additional hangers and plastic storage bins for clothes, as most of the storage in the home is already in use, we had to live out of our suitcases for the week. Also, the coffee maker takes forever to make a pot of coffee (over 30 mins), so we bought our own Keurig while we were there. Other than that, it was an amazing home and view - and you also get an extra special treat when Harry (the owners' dog) comes to visit. Thank you for an amazing time!"

"My family of four really enjoyed our stay at this tiny house/cabin. We ate all of our meals out on the large deck and watched the water. It has a great view and just enough space on the inside. The location is a little off the beaten path, but only 20 min away from hiking at Ha Ha Tonka and about the same distance from good food in Camdenton. "

"Been to a few VRBO's with kids and grandkids but this was by far the best. We had so much room to visit on the main floor and a huge game room downstairs. Dock was wonderful with tables and chairs for about a dozen. Our grandkids had a great time with the kayak and canoe. Meals were special as we had dining room tables and tableware for over 30 people. It is hard to get our kids together very often, but this will be our top choice in the future. "
