"Its a cozy, old timely hotel. In the middle of everything. The train station and Pisa tower are are all in walking distance. I also found a locally frequented pizzeria and an open air art center behind the hotel. The breakfast was included and great. Everyone was nice. "

"After thorough and extensive research on where to stay, me and my fiancé decided to stay at Hotel Calimala and it was absolutely perfect. I've heard horror stories of people being catfished by hotels (in Italy in general) but it was exactly, if not better, what I expected. The service and hospitality was top-notch from the jump. They welcome with you a glass of Prosecco at the main bar and a staff member will personally walk you to your room and explain everything. Location couldn't have been better. We were at the epicenter of everything so it was easy to navigate around the city. We adored the rooftop as it provided spectacular views and plenty of seating with great ambiance. They had an event going on one night we were there, and the line was out the door. On our last day, we asked for a slightly later checkout and they easily accommodated. Not only that, we had a later flight, they held our luggage while we roamed around. Our stuff was fine, and staff again, were so attentive. All this to say, this hotel was featured for a reason. Just book! "
