The staff were very nice and the breakfast was outstanding with a good selection of hot and cold options including full and small English to healthy vegetarian options. We chose The Ship Inn because of its location within walking distance to the beach and the ability to easily get on walking trails. “Enjoyed our stay. Would be nice to park near to the pub, car park is in another field which is a short walk away it seemed safe enough though. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent, staff were very friendly and room was clean. Garden room has a bath only and as it’s in the eves, you can only crouch to have a shower, don’t stand up quick and hit your head like I did! The bed is also tucked under the eves on one side so again be aware when getting up in the night as it is very close to your……

“We stayed for an event at UEA and the location was perfect for this. Setting was beautiful in a small village with a river running through -great for an evening stroll. Our bedroom was very very close to the road which becomes a commuter cut through in the mornings. This did lead to some unwelcome traffic noise from around 530am. ”

“What a wonderful B&B to stay at, so close to Thursford Christmas Spectacular show, literally a 5 minute walk away. The staff ( who are employed by Thursford) are so charming and very accommodating with every wish and desire. Everything was spotless and every amenity you could ask for in the room (Ivy). The choice of breakfast ( of which there is plenty) is excellent and cooked fresh to order. Would we stay there again? A resounding Yes and thankyou again to all the Staff who made the one night……
