“Great retreat, worth every penny ”

“Beautiful property, nicely situated being able to view the hot tub, sauna area, and edge of ski lifts. Some great games to keep busy on a cozy day in or chilly night like when it was in the teens while we were there next to the fireplace. Only downside was few glasses other than coffee mugs that matched, one solo 16oz glass, and a glass cappuccino cup, remaining glasses were all mugs. One of the seats was replaced at the kitchen table, not an issue for us at all, it was unclear when the chair……

“The condo was excellent, just as described and perfect for our visit. Very clean, larger bathroom than expected. The pool, which you can view from the private balcony, looked relaxing but it rained during our stay. We met family near by for an event and when we returned to the property, we still found the bar, Jack Otto's open until 11 pm as well as the sundries shop next door! Underground private parking felt safe and convenient with elevator near by. My husband enjoyed fresh coffee the next……

“Our stay was perfect and check in was all provided ahead. Walk to water park in summer. Pool was great!”

“Positives: the host was quick to respond when I had questions, and explained things that I hadn't found on my own yet. The space was very neat and clean, the heating was a bit noisy but I stopped noticing after a while (like white noise) on the other hand it was very warm and toasty! The kitchen was adequate for basic cooking and the bedroom and living room very comfy!! My only issue was the triple-chirp of the carbon monoxide detector/smoke detector every minute. I immediately let the host know……

“Host sent detailed communication prior to check in with all the information we would need. The host was also very responsive with an issue of a possible left item after the trip. Property was clean and had everything we needed. Location next to the mountain was perfect and the view was of one of the runs! Located directly next to the pools/hot tubs/sauna so the whole family was very happy after a day if skiing. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Appalachian. Our room was very comfortable and clean. A short one minute walk from the slopes with parking underneath made it especially convenient. ”

“Owner was very communicative. House was clean. The only thing that was an extreme nuisance was an infestation of Asian Beetles. They look like lady bugs but are not. We were freaked out by them and my little daughter was petrified. Apparently, they are common in that location. ”

“Wonderful stay. Apartment was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Well stocked with lots of lovely extras such as a little snack basket. This host really cared for their guests and it showed. Great communication with host. They responded immediately to every email. Beds were very comfortable with luxury linens. Top floor apartment, quiet, in excellent location. Short walk to elevator, ski slopes and Red Tail Lodge. Great sunset views from balcony to slope, trees and pools. Cozy comfortable……
