5 stars all round! For a 3* rated property, there have better facilities than some 4 and 5* places where I have stayed. The staff are an asset to this property. Breakfast was fantastic. This is an excellent hotel, you get what you pay for and this hotel and its staff deliver 110% we had a villa room which was outstanding the pools were lovely and the staff are super friendly and helpful

The apartment was not clean at all. 136 self catering. Had to put my all my food in the fridge because of the cockroaches that were all over the apartment. The towels looked like they were from white to cream white. My main bedroom shower water had no pressure at all, had to shower for over 45 minutes ...

Umhlanga is up market compared to downtown Durban with a more relaxed atmosphere and our favorite location in the surrounding metropolitan.
Umhlanga is a vibrant little village with safe swimming beaches, paved beachside promenade for walkers and joggers, and loads of restaurants, bars and take-aways.
We loved the pier, the lighthouse and loved eating breakfast at the Spur in the Gateway Mall
Nice small space to enjoy a holiday vacation.
