They changed the name and moved -Posted Sep 26, 2015
They changed their name and moved . Through sheer luck ( bumped into their maid staff in crowded St marks square ) we finally found it . They couldn't have cared less

Nice, convenient hotel in VenicePosted Aug 28, 2015
Pros: Excellent location, nice room for four.
Cons: The room is like an apartment located a short walk away from the rest of the hotel and breakfast area. The breakfast was way too crowded.
Spent two nights here in August with our two kids. Super close to Pz. San Marco. Easy access from water taxi or navettes.

Lovely hotel and fabulous locationPosted Aug 24, 2015
20.08.15 to 23.08.15 - We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom suites in the hotel which was lovely. Well maintained and spotless. Hotel is literally off San Marco square so perfect location too. Hotel reception staff and room service were lovely, super helpful but breakfast room staff were a bit grumpy. Continental breakfast was nice although not varied. Would defo stay here again.

Okay hotel close to St. Mark's SquarePosted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: I like the location of this hotel. The breakfast was just okay. The lobby was air-conditioned and felt great.
Cons: They could update their bathrooms.
Location: Walking distance to everything. Or take a taxi or water bus to other locations that are less crowded then the St. Mark Square area.
Rooms are a little dated, especially the bathroom. Peeling ceiling and little moldy on the ceiling in the bathroom. Nothing fancy about the room. We were just there to sleep, so it was okay. Close to everything on the square. DO NOT TAKE THE MURANO GLASS TOUR offered by the hotel. We got a free tour from the hotel, but it was a sales scam. They offer a free taxi ride to the glass factory, where you are greeted by representative of the glass factory. Then you watch the master glass maker make the glass for about ten minutes, then they take you into their store to buy their glass. The rep does not leave your side the entire time, and pushes you to buy the glass. (The glass items range from 500 - 30,000 euros.) They have less expensive items (jewelry) in the last room they show you. It was very annoying. It felt like they were pushing me to buy a timeshare.

Not satisfied stayPosted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: Only the location
Cons: Need to be refurbished entirely
Location: Piazza San Marco
First of all not easy to find. The address online is the back entrance and there was nobody there. My husband had to go around while me and our three teenage daughters waited at this alley to find where was the entrance for the hotel. We finally got to our room, and it was disappointing. The furnishings are very old and not well maintained. Dust everywhere. The AC did not work for our second night and there were no technician at night to fix it. They lend us one fan for the three rooms. It was very hot. Staff very unfriendly. The breakfast is not at all good. Overall not a pleasant stay.

Convenient Location with Old World CharmPosted Aug 5, 2015
Pros: Convenience. Accommodated 4 travelers. Complimentary water taxi and tour of Murano glass facility. Included breakfast.
Cons: Better directions and inclusion of the name Royal San Marco.
Location: You are in the heart of Venice...dining, shopping, public water taxi and bus, St Marks, Doge Palace.
Staff was pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed our suite and especially loved hearing and seeing the bell tower. There was an excellent continental breakfast. Hotel had a very convenient location but was VERY hard to find since it is better known as Hotel Royal San Marco. We finally located the Suites Torre dell'Orologio after asking many many people along the way and getting directions. When we did, we learned that we actually needed to enter through the Royal San Marco. One surprise was a complimentary water taxi to and tour of the Murano Glass facility. This was an excellent bonus to our stay.
