"Kinda expensive for the rooms. Most likely paying for the location. Hotel older as are the rooms we stayed in with few power plugins and amenities. Beautiful surroundings and beach are wonderful."

"We enjoyed this place very much - right on the ocean. The only issue is that the condo was quite old, the sofa bed was very hard to pull and there was some electricity concern (sparks when plugging items) and electrocution the last day when switching off a light."

"One of the dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed in. Floors were sticky and stained, bathroom was a mess. Appears to have not been deep cleaned in months. Location was bad due to a bridge being shut down. Called before my booking to inquire about rumors of a bridge being out and was not told about the bridge to town being closed. Had to drive 15-20 minutes out of the way to anything. For 400+ dollars"

"This resort is stuck in the 80s with no apparent updates since then. The fans were super dusty and dilapidated. The AC on the first floor where the kitchen and living room is only work for 15 minutes and then cut out and would not turn back on. The stairs around the entryway we're very poorly lit and are very serious tripping hazard."

"My fiance Maria and I had the most amazing time at our stay at the Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort. We had a beautiful room on the third floor that had ocean view and looked out onto the beautiful grassy area next to the Resort. We enjoyed a really nice dinner at the restaurant onsite called Naupaka Terrace where we had the Fish and Chips and Grilled Korean Beef Short Ribs. During the day we spent time at all four pools and I enjoyed the waterslide. Super fun slide!Parking was really easy and close to our room. Every amenity at the Resort was within close proximity to our room and that made for really convenient transitions from one event to another. Megan, Sadie and Jean were so nice at the Front Desk and were always there in case we needed assistance with our room. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come back next year. "

"Just barely could see the ocean but the view was still nice. Parking was expensive but so glad we had a car. Would like to have had a tv channel guide not just on the tv which we had to search for. It was nice having a refrig and coffee maker with coffee which was mighty tasty."
