DO NOT BOOK AT THIS PLACE!!! Customer service is AWFUL!! My family was supposed to check in on Nov 11-13, for a softball tournament. It was cancelled due to the hurricane weather coming in so I called the hotel the day before and explained that we had to cancel check in because of the weather, but could we just change the date to the following weekend since the money was already paid and it isn’t busy season? Was told to call the next day when the manager was there, I called and they said to call expedia. Expedia was great and tried to contact this crap hole with a call and an email, and was told that the hotel denied my request because they said I was a “no-show”…I guess the 4 phone calls and e-mail wasn’t enough to tell them I wasn’t coming??? I called this morning because that is a straight out lie and was put on hold for almost 15 minutes to talk to the manager and he picked up and hung up the phone. I called back and the person at the desk kept saying “I don’t know, I don’t know”…I said, I want to talk to the manager, what don’t you know? He said the manager put a note on the account saying it wasn’t a 72 hour notice. He didn’t even have the respect to talk to me! So I was at first told they didn’t care that it was up to Expedia, Expedia of course was like- we don’t care it’s up to the hotel, then was told it was bc I was a no-show (which I wasn’t), and then said it was bc it wasn’t 72 hour notice! So these crooks got my money and won’t even work with me!
