The first room that we were put in had an opening all the way around the AC unit so we requested to be moved to a new room. The new room was filthy, dirty towels, rusted tub, wet floor, and the toilet had an issue flushing. The man at the front desk came up and resolved the toilet issue but couldn’t resolve the other problems. I requested to be moved to another room but they stated there were no other rooms available so my wife and I had to stay in that wet, dirty room. I was told that I would be reimbursed for part of my room amount so I am waiting for that refund. I have photos of all of the issues.

Can be long wait times for the one elevator. The hallways did not have AC . We were drenched in sweat trying to navigate around the building. Our room was clean with no bugs!. It could use a remodel though.

Great location, easy, walkable to many dining options. Overall the hotel is a good 3 star hotel. Would be better is the bathroom was updated. The AC worked like a dream, kept the room real cold the whole time.

The staff were nice and respectful! They allowed me to check in early. The hallways are humid and warm but the rooms are not. It’s affordable and leads you right to the ocean! Great balcony views and sooo many restaurants , shops, and bar options near by. Took the kids and they had a blast. 10/10 would stay again. Don’t fall into modern trends and get the most highest pay hotel when you know you’re going to spend the majority of the time at the beach beach. This is worth it.

We had a wonderful stay there. Yeah, the place needs to be updated and not all areas a clean, but the location is PRIME and there a lot of shops and restaurants near by. We just needed a place to sleep while we enjoy the beach and all sights and sounds of VA Beach.
