2/10 Terrible

"Only good experience was the comfy beds. When we checked in, the front desk clerk was on her cell phone/speaker phone for (no lie) 4-5 minutes on a personal call, walking back and forth while I stood there with my ID and credit card ready to check in, ignoring me. She was pleasant when she finally got off the phone to check us in. AI got us on the condition of the hotel and room. The entire hotel was dirty -- elevator was gross with dirt and debris everywhere, scratched-in graffiti on the elevator walls, stains on the carpet in the hallways and the room carpet and walls in the room, and corrosive rust on the AC unit (room 418 if you want to check this out). The AC is not kept on in the rooms - just the fan - so it smelled horrible, like you left vegetables in a refrigerator for the weekend but the power turned off and then spoiled and the smell permeated everything, and there was no getting rid of it. No circulating AC also made everything in the room feel wet...carpet, bedding, etc. There was TONS of mold on multiple surfaces in the bathroom as well. Breakfast was VERY slim, and the yogurt had expired the day before. The area around the hotel was also VERY sketchy. Would absolutely never stay here again. "

"Unfortunately, there were hotel guests a few doors down who decided to get into an argument in the hall at 1:00 a.m. In front of their little kids. Kids were screaming and crying and sounded terrified. I called the front desk and she said she had received other calls and was on her way up to handle it. All was quiet afterward but I couldn't get back to sleep. Hope the kids are ok."
