“The owner allowed me to check in early with no extra charge. This retro motel is nestled in a nice neighborhood just off of main streets and freeways. The area is quiet and felt safe to walk around after dark. I was there for 5 days on business, and there are some great spots within walking distance. “I'm local but heard about the Onsen and had to come try it. It was a lovely experience and worth the trip and money. The staff were friendly, the rooms and building as clean and in excellent condition. It was delightful. I've been to Japan before and I definitely got an authentic Japanese experience in the onsen. I'm 5'10" and the women's onsen was two feet deep. If you're a tall and use the women's onsen, just know that your shoulders and neck may not be submerged if you sit down in the water.……
