“Rooms were clean and staff was nice!”

“We had to get another hotel because this one was so awful. Do not stay here. We couldn’t even stay here longer than an hour. Worst hotel we have been to. Do your research.”

“I will not stay here again. the room smelled musty when entering. the bed was a mattress on a metal frame so it sank where people have been on it the most. the air conditioner was so loud. no hair dryer. no tissues. I suppose since it’s geared towards extended stays, you are supposed to buy all those things yourself.”

“My wife has been coming to Oglebay for the majority of her life and for her it’s become a tradition to visit. I have only been to the property twice and although I think it is very nice, improvements need to be made: 1. Both the indoor and outdoor pools need to be refurbished IMMEDIATELY! Both are gross! At a bare minimum, a fresh coat of paint would be helpful. 2. Carpeting throughout the entire resort needs replacing. 3. Some staff members are warm, friendly, and welcoming. Many are……

“Room was very clean, Staff was great. My kids had the breakfast and said it was good. Pool/Hot Tub were down due to maintenance. No biggie to us we were not planning on using. Only downside was they appeared to have a lot of leaks from the rain or something. They had a bunch of trash cans set up to catch water. Kinda out of their control. But hotel did have a smell and no way to keep floors clean the entire day due to people tracking dirt through the water. But they did try their best. Def would……
