"The hotel was a very nice place to stay. Within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg. Breakfast was good for continental, lots of variety. Although we did not have kids, there were lots for kids to do. Staff was friendly but Natalie at the front desk was always helpful with our inquiries. Would definitely return to this place."

"Probably the worst sleep I have had in a hotel room ever. The pillows were weirdly very lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep on, so I ended up not using them at all. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable. There was a lot of noise in the hallways and from the streets outside including a couple of emergency vehicle sirens at night, making it even more difficult to fall asleep. I finally had to get up and put in my ear plugs which I usually pack just in case. We had a non-smoking room which was on a non-smoking floor, but because smoking was allowed on other floors, we could still smell the stench of smoke in the air. Breakfast was included but consisted of granola bars and pre-packaged muffins. Thank goodness for the Nespresso coffee maker, so the coffee was decent. The front desk staff was courteous, so no complaints there. We were in town for one night to attend a graduation party, so the location was convenient and the price was right, but we will not be staying here again."

"This property has a lot of potential but it needs a lot of work. Some renovations are needed, BUT simply keeping the common areas clean would help. My first room smelled terrible. I switched rooms and there was no smell, but it was pretty dirty. Second day, my room key stopped working. No apology from the staff. I watched a maintenance guy walk through the hallway and get on the elevator with a dripping plunger after he plunged a toilet. Bagging the plunger is a simple and sanitary step. The location is the best thing about this hotel."
