“My sister and I felt we had stepped back into the 60's. Everything was retro and very clean. Only thing was that adjoining rooms got up in the wee hours of the morning, waking us up.”

“We were welcomed immediately upon arrival and had a very comfortable and quiet stay. Our room was very clean and updated. The lounge at the top floor had a limited menu however, very good. They also offer a delicious breakfast buffet. Would definitely recommend this hotel. We had a great view of the harbor and lake.”

“Our room was lovely and clean. The breakfast room was well stocked and we were invited to help ourselves to snacks anytime. The staff was helpful and personable. We only had occasion to stay one night, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we had reason to be in the area.”

“Upon arrival bathroom floor was dirty, and there was black mold on conditioner bottle in shower. Housekeeping was non-existent. We had to repeatedly ask for clean towels and wash cloths, and were never given all that we requested. Air conditioning did not work, we asked 3 times to have it looked at with no help. Had to go out and buy a fan to get some air circulation. Lobby and elevator stink like smoke, as cigarette smoking station is located right next to door. Gross.”

“Very welcoming. Took the time to share the history of property, provided information on local areas of interest, and provided a wonderful home cooked breakfast with homemade pastries and jelly! Doesn't get any better than that!”

“This is a clean hotel that is a good place to stay before heading to Niagara. It was convenient that the washing machine and dryer could be used for free as long as you provided detergent. The staff were also very friendly.”

“This was our 2nd stay there. Both times were lakefront. Cabins 2 the first time a couple of years ago, and cabin 8 this time. Love sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. Bring your chairs to sit out there. Staff very friendly and other guests are always cool too.”

“Room was nice and quiet - no banging doors which was great. Fitness center was closed during our visit but they had arrangements with the neighbor hotel - very convenient. I think the hotel wasn't as booked as usual as we requested a balcony and got it. Very positive experience.”
