"I booked an Ocean View Junior Suite, but unfortunately was never placed in that room due to a pipe burst prior to my arrival. Instead, I was moved to a two-bedroom room with additional space that I did not need.
The room I was placed in also had no hot water and drainage issues, which made the stay frustrating. During the trip, I was then asked to move rooms again to accommodate another reservation, which added to the inconvenience.
Communication from the property manager was inconsistent and the overall handling of the situation felt disorganized. I was offered a drink voucher, birthday decorations (which I never received), and a 4% refund as compensation.
The restaurant and pool staff were the highlight of the stay — they were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and the food was delicious. The view from the property is also beautiful.
However, for a hotel with an 8.8/10 rating, I expected a much smoother and more professional experience. Hopefully management takes feedback like this seriously so future guests have a better stay."
