It's rare for me to write a review about anything, but this was such a bad experience, I feel it's necessary. I don't expect much from a Super 8, but this was really disappointing. Not only did they lose my reservation, they lost everyone's reservation! I had to wait 45 minutes while they determined which rooms were open and occupied, and whether they could take in me and other customers.
That was just the start. The door on my room didn't latch right. I had to almost slam it to get the latch to pop into place. Also, the toilet didn't flush right; the hallways and my room clearly haven't been vacuumed in a while; two or three people were yelling sometime around 3 am; the so-called breakfast barely consisted of anything; and the whole place had a kind of day-old curry smell. And for a period of a few minutes one morning, there was no water pressure, just air coming out.
To be fair, the bed and pillow were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean.
I know a Super 8 isn't going to be fancy, but I expect doors and plumbing to work, and I expect floors to be vacuumed.
