(B211) Loft Condominiums

On the main level you have a living room, with a fully equipped kitchenette, that has a stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dish-ware, cookware, and silverware provided. Our loft units also offer dvd player, with a free movie library, river rock propane fireplaces, and private outdoor decks with electric barbeques. Sleeps 2-4. Please be advised: sofa beds are only acceptable for small children, not for adults, as they are uncomfortable for adults, so we will not guarantee a good night's rest on them.

Located high on top of a mountain at an elevation of 6,000 feet, this 48 unit condominium complex not only offers you great mountain and forest views, but also offers you a great location to start your day from, just minutes to all the main attractions! Our condominiums come in two configurations, studios and lofts. All units come completely furnished and fully equipped with everything you'll need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Do you have internet access at any of your home properties? Yes but very limited! Only a few of our home properties have recently been able to receive Internet access. Due to our remote location, and the fact that most of our properties are surrounded by tall Yosemite pine and cedar trees, it makes it almost impossible to receive clear satellite signals, cable isn't available yet in our community. The system we currently have is a satellite based Internet system, and is vulnerable to adverse weather conditions, therefore we cannot guarantee Internet connectivity during your stay.

Fabulous peaceful stay inside the park a short drive to Yosemite Valley
Loved our 4 night stay here. Well equipped self catering apartment with everything needed to cook full meals each night while watching for wildlife and looking up at the stars. We saw a large black bear in our first afternoon, fantastic! In August it was very warm overnight, and this can be uncomfortable with no AC, but having read the reviews we picked up cheap fans in Walmart, along with groceries and beers on the way through Fresno. This helped keep us cool and everyone slept well. The real benefit of the condo is location, with Yosemite tunnel view about 10 minutes away and road to Glacier Point 2 mins away. We saw over 500 cars waiting to get into the park on our way out and thanked our lucky stars we had stayed here! Tiny complaint was arriving at 3pm we had no option to checkin early, so be sure to arrive after 4 when the door codes are set.

Not for summer
I'm sure this place is fine many times of the year. I would not stay here again in the summer. In fact, we left a night early. It was miserable. The listing does not make it clear there is no A/C. The materials provided AFTER booking say it's comfortable with a fan. It isn't. Two of 3 fans were not properly working.

Location, location, location!!
Ideal location for a visit to Yosemite. All the condos are compact but this one has very comfortable, space-efficient furnishings. This one is 2nd floor, facing out toward the trees.

Lost
Everything about this was good except we got lost and no one answered are call. Luckily we were able to figure out where are place was but this was certainly upsetting during the time frame that we did not know where we were and there was no one to help us.

The Condo was awesome!
The condo was awesome! Exactly as described in the listing and the location inside Yosemite was perfect! A 20 minute drive to the valley and 30 minutes to the Mariposa Grove! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Condo was clean and well stocked...exactly what we needed! Thank you!

Great location in Yosemite
Pro: Great location to Yosemite valley, Glacier point road and Wawona, very quiet, nice forested view from balcony, new electric BBQ, very friendly management, great for a couple. Con: Small unit, mildew smell, limited ventilation, very limited WiFi only in public area. Public areas need upkeep (carpeting).

Worked for us - location/location/location
The building is early 70's and yes the "walls are thin" - but it all worked for us. In early May Buiding B was not full, so it was quiet enough. Perhaps not so when it's June/July/August and full of families! WiFi at the end of the hall was OK. Suprised at cell reception (Verizon) in many locations and LTE in the Valley. It's expensive, but you are buying the location. It's easily accessible from the south entrance (off of CA 41) and south of the tunnel about 10 minutes. Very close to Glacier Point Road - a must for a whole day of hiking and looking from morning to night. The bed (queen size) was great and place clean enough, though dated interior. Terrible fry pans and minimum plates and utensils. We made it all work and glad we were able to cook most breakfasts and dinners there. I would give it a 4 if the pans and utensils were better. Yosemite = lots of windy roads, so 35 mph is a standard. The size was fine for a couple who did not mind the stairs to the loft. The place might work for a couple with small kids, but then the kids would be on the pullout in the main area.

Great location and amenities
We were very happy with our stay. The condo was clean, the kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked (bring your own shampoo and lotion, but there's plenty of soap and they're very generous with the towels), and we were pleasantly surprised by the satellite TV.

A great alternative to camping while being in the park!
We decided to stay here because we were hiking half dome. We usually camp, but really enjoyed having a bed and shower with such a big hike. Unfortnately the elextricity was out when we arrived until midnight due to the large fire in mariposa, we were able to make it work. We would have liked to have stayed one more day to enjoy the park, but for the price tag it wasn't feasible. I would stay here again, perhaps in off season.
