"We booked a delux room which was listed as sleeping 6 to accommodate us - 2 adults & 2 teenage girls. We had to request an additional bed to be brought to the room, as 2 sharing the sofa bed was unfeasible. We were told the arrangement for 6 would 3 in the king bed (!!) 2 sharing a sofa bed, and one on a roll in single bed. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful in getting the extra bed, but it didn’t arrive until 22:30 that night. Don’t bother with breakfast option - we found it chaotic with lots of items running out and terrible coffee. Lots of better breakfast spots minutes of the hotel. Great location, loved the sea view."

You'll find fewer visitors compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed experience at attractions like Lewes Castle and the Anne of Cleves House.Summer, particularly July and August, offers the warmest weather and the longest daylight hours, which is ideal for enjoying outdoor activities and local events.
