“Most of the stay was fine other than a few things: There was an issue with the door to our room locking. The staff showed us how to lift up on the door in order for the lock to engage. The room did not have enough washcloths on the first night. We asked for more and we were only provided with towels and bath towels. “The keyless check in was a disaster, consuming much pre-arrival customer time, only to be overridden with a physical key being issued in the end. Obtaining the key required traveling to a sister hotel over a mile away. We were told "They were having internet problems". The coffee machine had a cup of stale coffee in the overflow well. There was poor communication in the room about the location of items like the ice machine. It turns out the machine was a block away in a separate building. And so……

“The Water Street Hotel and Marina is a lovely place to stay. Very spacious rooms with full kitchen and a lovely balcony facing the river. While we were there, it was very quiet and peaceful. The pool area is also comfortable, clean and quiet. This was more like a condo than a hotel. I especially loved the lighted mirrors in the bathrooms. That was a nice touch. It is within walking distance to restaurants and shops and don’t forget to get your biscuit from the Biscuit Factory in the mornings.……
