The bathroom is outdated ,I think they can update this. The staff can improve by being a bit more welcoming, friendly and warm. Sadly in my room,m was on the ground floor and I was able to hear everything happening upstairs, n on the main corridor,so it was rather hard to sleep. so the place needs thicker……

“This place needs shutting down. How it has passed all health & safety measures is beyond me. Nothing like the pictures. The chairs in dinning area where thick with food, feet sticking to the floor. Got to the room & it was disgustingly dirty. Bedding didn’t fit the beds & cig holes in them. The bed frame was snapped with screws sticking out. Spoon burns in the bathroom. Chair only had 3 legs, shower was very dirty. Front door wasn’t locked & to get in the room needed a code but door would have……

“First impression was NOT good. Ignored by staff when we tried to check in to our room. NO parking outside the pub. I queried about it after we made the booking via their email but got no answer. The window in the room, old fashion style, was DANGEROUS, heavy to push up and difficult to open. The window was cracked so clearly someone had dropped it when trying to open it. Had to be propped open with a a wooden structure. Needed 2 people to do it. The kitchen fans were REALLY noisy, went on……
