“The Bell is nice but our room was in a different house and quite a walk from the pub. That was not disclosed in my booking. The room did not have a safe and the door was not fireproof, the light from the hallway came both over and under the door. Old and quirky indeed. The decor was cute and the mini bar well stocked. The breakfast was excellent and I recommend the lamb for dinner. The service is good, would have stayed for a drink at the bar if my room hadn’t been so far away.”

“The most fabulous service from the hotel staff I have ever had with the wonderful scenery view!!! Surprised experience to see deer and foxes in front of the hotel!”

“The parking is limited here. The establishment changed owners earlier this year. The rooms have been refreshed, and are quite reasonable. Rooms at the front overlooking the road are extremely noisy from any passing people or traffic. The food menu has been substantially changed and it is now not as extensive or as well prepared. This used to be our go to place near the M5 if we needed an overnight stop in the vicinity, but no longer.”
