"Very different from the picture as you see online but good stuff"

"I stayed at Sheraton Universal Hotel for two nights in a two-bedroom suite with a sofa bed sleeper, as we are a family of five. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It’s extremely convenient for visiting Universal Studios Hollywood. The room itself was spacious enough for our family and generally clean, which we appreciated. However, several issues made this stay very disappointing for the price point. One major issue is that the Jacuzzi was out of service, and this was not communicated at the time of booking. That was a letdown, especially since amenities like that often influence hotel choice. On top of that, we had ongoing problems with guest services. The first night, we called twice requesting bedding for the sleeper sofa, which was not provided in the room. Both calls went unanswered and the bedding never arrived. The second night was worse. We called three separate times and still never received a fitted sheet for the sofa bed. We had to make do without proper bedding for the entire stay, which was uncomfortable and unacceptable for a suite meant to accommodate five people. Overall, while the location and room size are good, the lack of communication, unresponsive guest services, and missing or unavailable amenities made this a frustrating experience. I would likely choose a different hotel in the area next time."

"Huge mixup with our room/reservation. Super frustrating. Do not trust their AI text “concierge”. No one at the hotel manages it and it has a life of its own. Hotel is being remodeled which we didn’t know about. Made the stay noisy and felt less than ideal since restaurant is being remodeled. Phones didn’t work in the room. “Kitchen” amenities were non existent. I honestly don’t know how this place had such a great rating."

"Really nice rooms and great pool. Nice, relaxed neighborhood. There shouldn’t be a charge on parking, and the windows should open in the rooms! Fresh air matters these days, not just air conditioning. "

"Easy access, parking and check in!! room could have been cleaner, was no smoking room but definitely had smoke odor. Overall, good price and convenient location. "
