“Booked just one night as a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Penthouse which has a large blacony with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. The beams are low at the edges of the room but we are both tall and managed to avoid them :) I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future.”

“The Royal Oak is in a stunning location and there has clearly been a lot of investment in upgrading the facilities and decor. This has resulted in very stylish, thoughtfully designed, high quality accommodation.
The room & bathroom were gorgeous with good storage, a very comfortable bed and good quality fabrics, linen & towels.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean.
We very much enjoyed the evening meal and breakfast, both cooked well and with good quality ingredients.
