“This is a 5* experience in the Islamic quarter. Since it’s a renovated soap factory, every space is different, and it’s the luck of the draw if you get the owners suite (bro’s room) or a smaller room that requires contortions in the bathroom. But with a new elevator, everyone has access to the multiple common spaces. Freshly made breakfasts and dinners are shared around a large table where everyone plans their days events. Youssef and his family truly took care of me and even ordered food delivery for me when I came back tired after getting lost. Highly recommend ! Bring earplugs because the street noise can be a bit much. It is Cairo after all!”

Room is nice and clean, we have electric kettle in room but no tea, milk or coffee so please get your own tea bags or coffee sachet with you otherwise there is plenty available around there. Location is brilliant and very close to many city attractions, plenty of shopping around and metro station in nearby. Lot of local street food is there in that area. Breakfast is very basic but served the purpose. Overall, good……
