"The first thing is to remodel the whole building.Wallpaper peeling,plumbing worn out,tube surfaces slick do to the age of the tub. Tile cracking in many areas. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If I were to stay again, I would definitely request a ground floor as I stayed in a room on the 3rd floor and took an average of 5 minutes to get warm water in the shower. You would need to turn it on at least 5 plus minutes before taking a bath. The shower is another thing all together. The bar and restaurant are nice. The quality of the hotel doesn’t warrant the price tag. Ultimately, when you are in a bind you have to do what you need to do. PW"

"Excellent place for peace and quiet. Spotless. We suggest to guests to bring your own coffee supplies and extra bedding. The bed and bedding aren't like the 5-star hotel variety, but they are very clean. Towels are very good, though, and water quality is great. Also, double-check your route before leaving town at night. GPS is sketchy out in the woods. We have stayed here twice and would return. "
