We really appreciated the local cheese, meats, and other food items. everything was very clean and well thought out with an extremely comfortable bed and high quality linens. Our only issue is we could hear the floors creaking often and loudly from the room next-door. And with the wall being in common with bed headboard, it made for a noisy night until around midnight when the neighbor settled down. Good location with ample free street parking.……

“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”

“The men's bathroom was two floors below our room. The mattress on my bed was worn out and I could feel metal springs on my back. On the plus side, the room had a good view, it was reasonably priced, and the manager refunded my money when the paid-for breakfast was not provided.”
