Great location. Owners were great, even arranging Skunk Train tickets to the Glen Blair Bar on Saturday evening. Our issues were the condition of the property. We had the Onyx Room. The fireplace is for looks only, as there is no way to turn it on. Very small, triangle shaped shower with grout that could use a good scrubbing. No bar soap in the shower, only shampoo and conditioner. Sink was outside the toilet/shower area across the room. My husband saw a mouse running along the back of the coffee area and droppings in the morning on the sugar tray. Microwave was dirty on the outside. Garden needed maintenance and was shabby looking with yard waste piled up. Entire property needs a fresh coat of paint. This could be a lovely place if it were better maintained.

Charming room and excellent breakfast. Be aware that you will need to carry your luggage up the stairs to most of the rooms, at least in the building we stayed in.
