"The location was fantastic! And, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the grocery store and restaurants within 5-10 min. of the cottage. While it was quiet and comfortable for 2, if we had had our family, there was not really a place for people to sit inside and play board games or chat (although the island did have a pull-out). Communication with the owner was great; but, unless I missed something, we were required to either put down a very steep deposit or purchase insurance, neither of which were good options for us. Overall, while simple, it met all our needs!"

"We needed a place to get away and recharge. We loved the quiet and sitting on the porch with only the view of the trees. It was also close to Calaveras State Park which we had enjoyed in the past. It had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. It was also very clean."
