“There is a good menu available in the bar in the evening Breakfast offers a good selection and quality Accommodation very good and comfortable, great nights sleep ,there is parking at the rear ( not sure of arrangements) , we traveled by train a easy walk to the Nags Head under a mile It is close to the main attractions in the city as well as easy road access to the surrounding area The staff and owners are friendly and helpful Could not ask for more”

“Room is ok, breakfast is great, unfortunately after I had breakfast water supply stopped in the hotel. Maintenance work is understandable, but should remind guests beforehand so they can be better prepared.”

“The staff were pleasant and welcoming. We liked the convenience and food offered at the property. The bed was also extremely comfortable. In terms of improvements, the mirror in the bathroom was too far away for shaving, etc - It would be nice to have a magnifying mirror. Also, we felt it was difficult to leave the property by car as the visibility was quite poor and cars pass by quite quickly.”

“St Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive. Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing……
