Very clean, simple room. Even though it was small it was very comfortable. Only thing I didn't like was that there was no space to stop and check in. I had to park very far away and walk there. Overall excellent value for the price and a great location!

Conveniently located, clean cozy and affordable
This hotel ticked all the boxes - it was affordable, in a convenient location, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good, and the restaurant grounds are spacious with a garden area that is quite charming. Rooms are a bit on the small side but that was expected and typical of smaller European hotels in general so no issues. Bonus points - they accommodated two motorcycles parked in a courtyard on the hotel property at no additional charge, which was greatly appreciated. Hotel staff were all friendly and courteous, even when I pulled the "dumb foreigner" and asked for a power converter (.CH is not the same as some of the adjacent countries like France, FYSA). They were apologetic and tried to find one even though it was clearly my lack of prior planning and homework that was to blame. It's an easy walk into town and the lake front boardwalk, and the sunset behind the hills on a clear night was beautiful. So many treasures in the Alps, this hotel and Ascona are some of them.

Great place, we loved it!
Would go back anytime. Very surprising, we didn't expect it to be so nice, friendly, comfortable. Good breakfast and fantastic menu! You won't eat anywhere else after experience this food.

La colazione su hotel.com è segnata come gratis ma non lo è. Per 19.- per giorno é sempre disponibile. Poco parcheggio disponibile ma c’è qualche zona blu e uno parcheggio di fronte a pagamento. Ristorante di qualità menù con piatti buonissimi (consiglio la pizza al carbone). Prezzi nella media!

Toplage,zentral und trotzdem ruhig.Unser Zimmer war schön renoviert mit neuem Bad.Zum Hotel gehört ein Restaurant in dem es sich lohnt zu speisen.Sehr gute Küche.Auch das Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend.Wir würden wieder buchen.

Sehr gute Lage, sehr freundliches & zuvorkommendes Personal. Den Besitzern gehören mehrere "Lokale" in Ascona, eine Reservation inkl. 10 % Ermässigung für ein Nachtessen kann direkt an der Rezeption gemacht werden. Die Zimmer sehen auf den Fotos doch ziemlich neuer, "frischer" aus, als sie in der Realität sind. Das Frühstücks-Buffet ist für den Preis von knapp CHF 15.00 pro Person etwas zu dürftig. Die Gipfeli & Brötli waren ziemlich trocken, keine gute Qualität, allgemein keine grosse Auswahl am Buffet. Aus unserer Sicht war deshalb Preis/Leistung nicht so ganz gegeben.
