“Wondeful rental property. Very close to pretty much everything you are in the area for. My kids loved the game room and hot tub. The sauna is a truley unique and fantastic addition. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax after adventuring this beautiful part of the country. If we are ever looking to return to this areas, we will DEFINTELY be staying here again. ”

“We had a great stay in Otis! We enjoyed the lake, the canoe and kayaks, the loons with their calls and several visits from a bald eagle. We also rented a pontoon boat - a great week for it. The lake is huge and the area is very peaceful. The neighbors were all friendly on morning walks.While we had great days and nights in Otis at the camp, we also enjoyed Acadia with a few hikes and Bar Harbor for a few dinners. Finn's in Ellsworth was fairly close and we had a great meal there as well. ……

“Loved every minute and wish we could just live here! Everything about the house was just perfect-everything worked, uber clean, stylishly decorated, grounds well maintained. Loved the sauna with ocean view!Minor quibbles: IMO hosts should always provide coffee. there was some old coffee left over from the previous guest-enough for one morning-but if it wasn't there we'd have needed to go to the store right away. “We recently stayed 4 days in this property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The check-in process was very convenient and there were fresh flowers in the living room and kitchen. The property had all the conveniences and sheets and linen provided were of fantastic quality. They had some really good maps and guidebooks to explore Acadia NP and the surrounding area. “Great location to enjoy all that Acadia offers! Well maintained log home in private setting. Everything clean and no odors. Well equipped. Has clean gas grill and oven, gas range, clean bathroom and shower. Great washer dryer in basement which is accessible from outside the house. Comfortable beds. Screens and windows are in great shape so you can enjoy nice breeze. Nearby local markets and takeaways seafood. Would definitely stay here again!”

“I don't write a review like this lightly, but the hosts of this property are a 5/5! Instead of running a business and just taking your money, they hosted like my Southern mother invited someone over. The view was beautiful and check-in was simple. The beds, sofa and seating were comfortable (a rare find these day). The kitchen was beautiful and well-equipped so you could explore the area without spending a ton on needed items that wouldn't fit in our suitcase. They had Rubbermaid containers,……

“If you are looking for a place with the fanciest furnishings, and most up to date fixtures, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, inviting well lived and loved home, this is it. It has a great location, may be dated, but is completely functional. Only problem we had was starving the hot water system while taking showers and washing clothes. Other than that, it was awesome!
