We were also awoken by an argument which ended up becoming violent. Called night manager who came very quickly ...

Beautifully renovated home which we loved staying in. Slight confusion over check in/out times as vrbo states one time and check-in message from host states different times but it seems the vrbo times are the correct ones! The apartment was very clean, the appliances were good, it was a nice apartment and well located. Unfortunately found the mattress and the sofa were not ideal for comfort.

We stayed at The Fox and Hounds because we wanted to spend a day in Barry Island. It’s a taxi drive back and forth but worth it. The beach’s are beautiful and the coastal walk very fun. Pretty empty in October and cool but good time to go.
Was only there for the night, so I did not visit Barry. Very convenient access from the train stop and to the airport in Cardiff.
