“Greatest hotel ever friendly staff ”

“The staff was excellent and super helpful! However, we stayed in a suite and it faced the highway (6 lanes) and the noise transference was fairly high. I'm guessing these are the original windows with the building but these need to be replaced. We've stayed in this hotel before multiple times in a room which doesn't face the property and the noise wasn't an issue.”

“The check in & check out process were quick & efficient. The lady assisting us w/ our check in was helpful & made sure our request for ADA accommodation were considered. The rooms were spacious w/ a balcony . Very comfortable beds and we had two full bathrooms . The location was convenient , & the heated pool was up for use until 11pm for late night swimming. we highly recommend.”

“Never stayed here but loved this hotel. It is older but generally clean and well maintained. Hall carpets a bit dirty but be expected by a beach. Rest of the place was clean and location was great! Breakfast is continental and was okay. Loved the pool area and bar on 10th floor! Would definitely stay there again.”

“Howard Johnson goes back a long time. Always like the old world charm of the 50’s and 60’s styling. Only one small quirk was my shower knob did not work and it was broken. Fortunately it was stuck on a reasonable temperature to shower and used it as that. Breakfast was quite meager, very small lounge and limited food choices. But I assume it’s because of the limited space that had there. Overall it was alright and would go there again since my beach location in Clearwater was all but overbooked.……
