"This was a lovely bolt hole in the country and an ideal location for visiting wonderful local landmarks. The cottage was well equipped and nicely presented with a welcoming box of biscuits on arrival. Very quiet with tranquil views. The owners were over the driveway and extremely friendly. Salisbury, Glastonbury, Sherborne and the like were within easy reach as was Poole on the coast. An ideal spot and perfect for that relaxing getaway."

"Lovely Inn, with a great atmosphere. Staff were helpful upon arrival, providing a bottle of fresh milk for our in-room fridge for tea & coffee! Room was very clean and a fan & heater were provided in case they were needed Ate dinner in the restaurant - great choice with superb food, and Asahi on tap! lol Breakfast choices were spot on too - couldn't fault it!"

Room was a little small but contained everything we needed and was very comfortable. We ate here on both nights of our stay and the food was great. Breakfast was also lovely. "As a business traveller I won't be staying here again. No food available on site, breakfast or evening meal. It required a 5 mins walk around a couple of corners to a sister venue for evening meal and breakfast the following morning. Okay on a fine day, but not good in bad weather. as a business traveller it was a waste of time. No mention of this issue on the Hotels.com website listing, otherwise I would have passed it over. Bigger issue was no effective desk to use my laptop at, but worse still, absolutely no wifi signal anywhere within the confines of my room, room 4. Could only pick it up out in the courtyard, and as there was nowhere else in the building accessible where I could have sat (bar or restaurant) then I could not effectively complete any work (yet another waste of my time) Okay venue for accessing the centre of Wimborne on a social visit, but useless as a business traveller."
