“The room was clean but the bed was hard and you needed binoculars to see the TV. We stayed in Kent hall and it seemed like an old office block that has been turned into bedrooms. Breakfast wasn't that great sausages and bacon were overcooked and dry. The parking was not that great either.”

“This is a charming country house and everyone was amazing. We enjoyed a walk around the property and the food was spot on. You can’t go wrong staying here if in the neighborhood. If you’re also familiar wrote ceramics, you’ll find several ships about 10-15 mins away that is a great place to browse and shop. ”

“Nice hotel in beautiful surroundings however the decor is very tired. The staff were very friendly and hospitable and the leisure facilities were good. There is a very limited food menu on offer in the bar and the quality of the food was mediocre at best.”

“The rooms were clean and comfortable and belied the rather inauspicious entrance out the back of the pub. There were little touches (water, coffee/tea and biscuits) that made us feel welcome. The beds were very comfy.”

“I was welcomed to the property, shown to my room by a friendly and helpful lady. She explained about the shower, tea and coffee making, and how to access the property using the fob. There was also a written guide in the room. The problem I encountered was the small spotlights were flickering which made reading or knitting difficult so the first night I lay on the floor by the bathroom door to read as these lights did not flicker.
