"We wanted to add our son to our room the night before our booking, the lady we spoke to over the phpne went out of her way to accommodate us. Also, hotel staff were helpful, hotel was fresh and clean and there was plenty of choice for breakfast."

"How this place is still open is beyond me!! The whole place smells of damp and another smell that hasn’t even been identified by scientists. the ceiling is falling in throughout the hotel, and my room had a metal rot sticking out of it. My room wasn’t cleaned bin was full of old food/rubbish, shower looks like you could catch a bacterial infection, the toilet was covered in urine etc, the beds weren’t changed. The carpet is pure filth and hasn’t seen a hoover since the 90s probably when it was put down. The walls all covered in stains and holes and can’t forget the mould that’s growing. When I went to say about my room not being cleaned, the “cleaner” said she would clean it AGAIN not sure what type of humour that was. I would not stay there even if I was paid!!! It is a hazard throughout."

"This was the second and last time we stayed at this hellhole, the room was dirty, a sea view but you can't see out of the window , it was that dirty, I asked several times for it I be cleaned , for my sheets to be changed and room cleaned , and they didn't , £360 for two nights for this level of service. The radiators are on all day and all night full blast in the room, this is no exaggeration. The TV or remote doesn't work and is about 20 years old, I can not understand how it can be this bad and still run as a business, I feel like I've been scammed . There's a kids play room in the basement, the door handle is hanging off if a kid ran to that door and lost balance they have there eye out. Its laughable they've don't nothing to rectify the poor service in anyway, when I spoke to the manager when we were leaving he wasn't in anyway sympathetic or concerned about all the problems we had, just gave me another email address and totally passed the book as as did every member of staff I spoke to all weekend. Do not waste your money and do not stay at this hotel, worst hotel experience of my life, will never visit again Warning to anyone thinking of visiting Blackpool, just have a look about and avoid this place like the plague"

"First glance at the hotel was a disappointment not what the pictures showed on Expedia looks run down. Was only staying for 1 night. Check in was fine nice and quick. Hall ways looked dirty like they hadn’t been hoovered in a week or so. Found a used tea bag on the window sill. The room was terrible stains on the carpets. Wall paper was peeling from the walls, damp in the room, holes in the bathroom walls. Asked to change rooms got to say staff members really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the different room was in a similar condition. And the hall way stunk of weed been smoked. Told the reception and nothing was done about it. Didn’t use much of the facility’s as I just wanted to get checked out and leave. Really not worth £176 a night"
